Design and Size
Realme 3 is one of the phones you will like at first sight. Trendy, lovely, attractive and sharp, the design targets lovers of beautiful phones and sits between masculine and feminine. It has a whole design and is easy to hold. The tiny dewdrop notch, one of its attractive features, is less conspicuous.
The smartphone offers large screen and slim bezels and a temperately narrow bottom chin. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the display, which makes it more resistant to scratches than drops.
The smartphone comes in three colour variants – Dynamic Black, Radiant Blue, and Black. The overall design is not very flashy and should appeal to fans that love simple and classy designs.
Realme 3 boasts a 13 MP primary camera with a 2 MP secondary sensor at the rare. It also boasts an outstanding 13 MP front shooter for selfies. The camera app boasts the basic features and many more exciting ones including Portrait mode, Panorama, and Nightscape mode. The beauty mode pleasantly adds glow to selfies, while the Chroma Boost mode briskly improves shots to produce very nice photos. Although the aforementioned boost mode takes longer to process the photo, it works very fine.
This is one of the selling point of the smartphone, along with the battery capacity. The Realme 3 is powered by octa-core Helio P70 mobile platform, which is MediaTek’s flagship chipset. Based on report and benchmark, the smartphone is largely on par with Snapdragon 660 in terms of raw performance. Additionally, the phone features 4GB RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage option, depending on the variant you are going for.
The inbuilt launcher offers options to select the home screen outline, navigation gestures, and make other customizations.
Battery and Connectivity
Realme 3 runs with a battery capacity of 4230 mAh which should be enough to serve users for more than a day when using the phone. Although ignorable to a large extent, some variants feature of 10W which makes the phone charge a bit faster.
In terms of connectivity, the phone brings all the fundamentals on the cards and you can guarantee lovely experience in terms of voice calls, dual VoLTE, data and other similar areas. TWhile the ear piece is comfortable and loud enough, users might have issue with the loudspeaker as it might not be as loud you’d expect.
